Born in Hampstead London but living in Milton Keynes from birth Matt attended local state school Stantonbury Campus where he completed
his studies whilst participating in the school council and working part time in retail. Moving into retail full time with The Disney Store after
spending some time at University College London he was made part of the management team within 18 months of joining.
Headhunted to operate the retail section of newly formed Milton Keynes Dons FC in 2004, Matt had responsibility for the Box Office and Club
Shop prior to the growth of the business dictating that he took over sole control of the Club Shop between 2005 and 2007. The move to
stadiummk presented new challenges and Matt was appointed Supporter Services Manager, heading the group of companies’ customer service and charitable work. Due to the large number of contacts made in the community during this time Matt was appointed to the Sport and Education Trust (registered charity 1123762) as Business Development Manager, with responsibility over fundraising, sponsorship and marketing and creating innovative ways to engage with this. After three successful years at the SET, gaining sales and events experience, he had a brief stint at the RSPCA on the successful Birmingham Animal Hospital Appeal before joining SuperOffice in October 2012 where he remains whilst supporting the Events Managed business.
Born in Milton Keynes, Thomas attended specialist arts college Stantonbury Campus where he first began performing, starring in Romeo and Juliet as Lord Capulet aged just 13. As an arts college, Stantonbury allowed Thomas to perform in numerous productions of a professional quality. These include My Fair Lady as Mr Doolittle, West Side Story as Action, Arabian Nights and a number of plays. Thomas also performed in the renowned Craig Revel-Horwood workshop production of Hairspray as Edna Turnblad at Stowe.
In 2011, he joined the company of Rare Productions in their first Milton Keynes show- Les Miserables taking on the lead role of Jean Valjean. Since then, he has performed across the South East with Rare in shows including Annie, Oliverand Camp Rock.
In the summer of 2012, Thomas joined Rare Productions as a member of their Production team, and made his directorial debut with Aladdin in Bedford in October 2012. He will continue to direct shows in 2012/13 with productions in Milton Keynes, Bedford, Kettering, Potters Bar and Watford.
In addition to his theatre work, Thomas has also worked as host and compere for a variety of events and concerts including the MK and Border Counties YFL Finals for four consecutive years and the Milton Keynes Mayor’s Charity Dinner 2012, for which he also served as director, producer and lead vocalist alongside his Rare colleagues.
