Events Managed Managing Director Matt Cove is delighted to have been appointed to coordinate the activity within Milton Keynes for the Rugby World Cup 2015.
This contract, in association with Milton Keynes Council and The Parks Trust, means Matt will be working closely with local people and businesses to help ensure that Milton Keynes has a festival-like atmosphere during Rugby World Cup 2015.
Matt will be developing and coordinating a programme of cultural and sporting activities to take place in Milton Keynes when the Rugby World Cup is in town from 1st to 11th October 2015.
Matt said: “I’ll be talking to local community groups, businesses, partners and venues to ensure that the whole of Milton Keynes can get involved in this exciting opportunity. My role is to give people and organisations the chance to showcase the best that Milton Keynes has to offer during Rugby World Cup 2015.”

Cllr Hannah O’Neill, Deputy Leader of Milton Keynes Council, said: “Matt has the right experience to make sure that Milton Keynes creates a festival-like atmosphere that reflects the culture of our new city and the spirit of Rugby World Cup 2015, a global sporting event.”
Matt is the Managing Director of specialist events company Events Managed and previously spent seven years working at MK Dons and MK Dons Sport and Education Trust. He added: “We need to create a fantastic ambience, pride in Milton Keynes and pride in England as we’ll be seen on an international stage. I’m very confident that by working together we can achieve this.”
