The Women Leaders MK Awards were a star studded event to recognise women living or working within the Milton Keynes postcode area who have contributed to the growth of their own particular sector and the ongoing success of the new city.
Events Managed was engaged by the organisers to provide front of house services and sponsor/speaker liaison on the awards evening in November 2015 and also to make sure everything proceeded smoothly on the pre-ceremony judging day.
Jan Flawn, the founder and main organiser of the Women Leaders MK Awards, said: “Events Managed worked very hard to make sure the judging day and the awards night went smoothly. This involved co-ordinating a team of students with event photography and supporting the finalists, making sure they had drinks and nibbles.”
“Events Managed were able to very quickly pick up on issues.”
On the night of the awards, Events Managed made sure the winners got to the stage to pick up their trophies and that other finalists received their certificates.
Jan Flawn added: “Events Managed supported the finalists in an excellent manner.”
